Neuroscience services offer expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and management of neurological disorders.  The service comprises neurologists, a neuropsychiatrist, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, pastoral care specialists and administrative staff.

Our services include care for patients with:

  • epilepsy
  • post stroke care
  • movement disorders
  • emerging adult care – 16 to 25 year old neurosciences patients transitioning from paediatric medicine into adult medicine.

Neurodisability service

Our multidisciplinary neurosciences team provide assessment, rehabilitation, treatment and care for adults and emerging adults with complex disabilities caused by disease or damage to the brain or other parts of the nervous system.

Our services include care for patients with:

  • acquired brain injury
  • developmental disorders
  • genetic disorders with neurodisability 

Diagnostic services

Diagnostic services on site comprise Sleep Studies, EEG Monitoring, EEG, EMG and Nerve Conduction studies. We also have access to advanced Neuro-imaging.

The Neurosciences service also has access to on-site expert Rehabilitation and Pain Specialists, Counsellors and Carer support services.
